Natalie Zhang

Natalie Zhang is a fifth grader from Weston, MA. Natalie started her classical music training at age of 4 and currently studies piano with Dr. Nilly Shilo. At age of 6, she made her solo debut at Carneige Hall. Since then she has given public performances at venues like Boston Symphony Hall, Seattle Symphony Hall and Hawaii Emalani Theater. She was a Gold Medalist of Seattle International Piano Competition, first prize winner of American Protege International Competition and American Fine Arts Festival. She was a four-time first prize winner of MTNA state solo competition. She has won top prizes at Alexander & Buono Competition, Steinway Competition, and Aloha International Piano Festival. Natalie has taken Masterclasses and private lessons with renowned pianists Jon Nakamatsu, Julian Martin and Haewon Song. Natalie also plays violin. She is an active member of her school’s string orchestra. In her leisure time, she likes to draw, design cartoons and read books.
